Find several photographs that could be used as inspiration to design the MURAL (related to your subject matter.

4+ Sketches of your subject matter e.g. rocks/waterfall/trees and grasses

Trial Acrylic painting Medium within you selected Subject matter. Ensure a high level of tonal range and blending to create form.

Mini Artwork #1 - 1 Point Perspective “Falling objects”
Mini Artwork #2 - 2 Point Perspective “Interior” - based on: Inspirational imagery *(sourced)
Large Artwork #3 - 2 Point Perspective “free choice”
Subject: Free choice (interior/exterior)
Perspective: 2 –point perspective.
Medium: fineliner and watercolours on watercolour paper. Or acrylic paint and markers on canvas board.
Students should begin by Portfolio development:
1 – brainstorming ideas 20+,
2 – finding inspirational images 4+,
3 – developing design layout/composition 4+,
4 – trialling mediums
5 – trial final,
6 * annotate & record thinking and process.
