Term 2: Colour theory within Tiled patterns & cubist artwork
Colour theory (pg 82-85 Art is... Book) and Composition (86-89.Art is... text book.)
Task 1) Create a 'Radial' pattern using ‘Geometric’ shapes.
Medium: Coloured pencils (optional texta for outlines and edge work)
Note: Pattern must include a specific range of colours e.g. complementary/primary/warm.
Artwork must apply tonal ranges/gradient using coloured pencils and optional textas (to outline)
Development work:

Practise tone to create a gradual effect (1 colour SLOWLY blending into another colour)

Design using on a 14cm squared tracing paper TILE.

Transfer the design to A3 paper.
Task 2) Create a CUBIST painting
